Cardiac Cath Lab RN - Mansfield, TX

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to support an advanced Cath Lab team, delivering critical cardiac and interventional radiology care in a dynamic, high-acuity environment. This contract role requires strong recent experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology, and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care.

Schedule:

Shifts are 10 hours: 4 days per week, typically 8:00 am - 6:30 pm, with flexibility to shift 7:00 am - 5:30 pm depending on department needs. No set days off; flexible rotation.

On-call required:

1 weekend per month and 8-9 call shifts monthly (5:30 pm - 7:00 am).

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license in good standing. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Extensive recent experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology is mandatory. Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced hospital settings. Exceptional critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures. Assess, monitor, and respond to patient needs throughout procedures and recovery. Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes. Maintain accurate, detailed documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory requirements. Participate in on-call assignments for after-hours cases, responding promptly and efficiently to emergent needs.
