Job Description:
Job Description We are seeking an experienced System Integration Engineer to join the Vehicle System Integration Engineering team for a cutting-edge autonomous Robotaxi program. In this role, you will lead system requirements, functional architecture, integration, and verification activities for Body Electronics systems to ensure end-to-end vehicle capability, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including vehicle integration, firmware, electrical, and component development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Body Systems and controls for autonomous Robotaxi platforms. Design and define system architecture and technical specifications. Develop system integration and validation test plans for: Lighting Systems Closures Instrument Clusters Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams for integration activities. Ensure subsystem requirements and interfaces are properly implemented. Participate in technical reviews and supplier evaluations.
Create:
System FMEAs Diagnostics strategies Fault reaction mechanisms Lead issue triage activities including: Log analysis Code reviews Hardware investigations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 10+ years of System Engineering experience in automotive or EV systems.
Strong understanding of:
Closures Lighting Passive Entry Instrument Clusters Experience with vehicle electrical architectures and communication protocols:
CAN LIN Ethernet Knowledge of:
Automotive Diagnostics (UDS)
ISO 26262
Functional Safety Strong experience in system requirements management tools such as:
IBM DOORS
Siemens Polarion Understanding of sensors and actuators for body control systems. Experience with model-based system engineering processes.
