Job Description
Banking Specialist SrThe Banking Specialist Senior promotes the organization's banking services, recognizes sales opportunities, and makes introductions to team specialists including financial center managers, relationship managers, or other delivery channels such as small business, commercial banking, and treasury management. This job understands client needs with the goal to acquire, retain, and deepen client relationships by offering a full range of financial services. Under limited supervision, this job works with a wide range of customer types with a focus on high-net-worth clients and prospects and is responsible for key sales management and operational functions within the financial center.
Key Responsibilities and Duties Promotes the organization's banking financial services suitable for the client based on profiling, identifying client's needs, and partnering with specialists throughout the enterprise. Understands client's needs and assists them with a full range of expanded financial services to include banking, small business, commercial banking, treasury management, and lending. Participates as a team member with responsibility for achieving individual goals and objectives to successfully meet financial center business plan. Consistently meets/exceeds customer experience and individual/team production goals and enhances year-over-year revenue growth. Partners with all lines of business including commercial, and multifamily lending groups. Executes the bank's risk culture and strives for operational excellence. Adheres to established policies and procedures while opening/servicing the full range of Retail products. Exceeds client expectations by taking ownership and accountability of the client and making the client's needs a priority. Provides support to financial center managers or relationship managers as important client service team member and serves as an advisor to the client's ongoing financial needs. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of retail banking experience Previous cash-handling experience, including accurate balancing of drawers and adherence to loss‑prevention protocols Strong sales experience with a proven ability to build and deepen client relationships, identify client needs, drive revenue growth, and deliver tailored, consultative financial solutions Skilled in assisting small business clients and opening new accounts, with a focus on personalized service Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to drive business development, proactively identifying opportunities to grow deposits, expand relationships, and increase client engagement.
