Senior Bookkeeper

Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper Carol Stream, IL In-Person Position | Flexible Scheduling Available We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations and help keep the business running accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. We are open to flexible scheduling for the right person. Whether you're looking for a traditional full-time role or need some flexibility around your schedule, we care more about accountability, accuracy, and ownership than rigid hours. What You'll Own This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. You'll be the person making sure the numbers are accurate, processes are followed, and financial operations stay on track. Full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online Daily deposits, bill pay, and bank reconciliations Monthly close, financial reporting, and account accuracy Accounts payable and accounts receivable management Collections follow-up and customer account tracking Expense reporting and reimbursement processing Commission tracking and reporting for the sales team Cash flow tracking and communication to leadership Financial dashboards, reporting, and analysis Identifying financial risks, inefficiencies, and cost savings opportunities Building and improving organized, scalable financial processes (SOPs) What We're Looking For We are not looking for someone to simply "assist with accounting." We need someone who takes ownership and keeps things under control.
