Job Description

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will serve as AWG's senior technology partner, responsible for the company's business system's operation, support, and development. This individual will report directly to the Senior Manager of Retail and Distribution and will operate at the intersection between IT and business to improve, customize, implement and maintain business systems.

This is a hands-on technical role that will work closely with the accounting department on daily, weekly, monthly and year-end processes. Additionally, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will be assisting the Senior Manager of Retail and Distribution in partnering with the AWG team for all business systems. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be vital to keeping up with the day
  • to-day support activities while finding opportunities to improve and automate processes and assist in evaluating and implementing new technology opportunities.
Success in this role will be measured by support satisfaction, system reliability, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration and Support
  • Financial Systems
  • Primary administrator of all financial applications
  • Manage application configuration and adding of locations, users, and general ledger hierarchies
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by accounting team and engagement with third party vendors to open support tickets to resolve
  • Provision user access and permissionsEnhancement and Implementation
  • Financial Systems
  • Identify, test and implement system enhancements, upgrades, and patches
  • Gather requirements and create functional design documents for any internal/external requests
  • Assist in implementation of new financial ERP and additional supporting software applications
  • Manage additional projects identified in support of accounting and financeProcess Improvement
  • Financial Systems
  • Streamline financial processes by automating workflows to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Partner with accounting team to discover, suggest and develop new methods to create valueData Integrity and Reporting
  • Financial Systems
  • Validate data integration between systems
  • Manage metadata
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and repBusiness Systems
  • Support and create SSRS reports
  • Assist in upgrade and release testing
  • Partner with business on Power BI dataflows
  • Administer and support additional applications as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum (10) years' experience in technology
  • Minimum (10) years' experience with ERP/Financial System
  • Minimum (10) years' experience with SQL
  • Minimum (10) years' experience creating and modifying reports with SSRS
  • Advanced/Expert in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Great Plains, Metaviewer, Trintech Cadency, and Solver BI 360Additional NotesThis position is full-time work in the office and will require occasional travel up to 15%.
This position will also require some support outside normal business hours and occasionally on the weekend.
