This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate contracts, and manage supply chain operations for a company committed to operational excellence. The Senior Buyer will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services essential for our operations while optimizing costs and maintaining high standards of quality. Duties Develop and execute sourcing strategies for materials, equipment, and services aligned with company needs and market trends. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable conditions while fostering strong supplier relationships. Manage procurement processes using ERP systems such as

SAP, SAP ERP, JD

Edwards, Oracle EBS, or AS400 to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with logistics and inventory management teams to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities that enhance supply chain resilience. Monitor supplier performance through KPIs related to quality, delivery, pricing, and compliance; implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production planning, merchandising, and logistics to support operational objectives. Requirements Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles within manufacturing or industrial sectors. Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as

SAP, SAP ERP, JD

Edwards, Oracle EBS or AS400; experience with materials management modules preferred. Deep understanding of supply chain management principles including inventory control, logistics, sourcing, and procurement strategies. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial supplier relationships. Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with pricing strategies across diverse categories. Ability to analyze market trends and leverage data for strategic sourcing decisions.
