As our new Senior Category Manager, Professional Services & Travel, you will be driving category strategy and strategic sourcing for Professional Services & Travel across the Americas region covering HR, Fleet, Travel, and Finance Services while partnering with global stakeholders to deliver savings, optimize supplier portfolios. What you will be doing As a key part of the Purchasing CoE Professional Services & Travel team, you'll create impact by Shaping how Grundfos indirectly sources and manages critical indirect services across the Americas, turning data into actionable strategies that deliver real financial impact and operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities include:
Develop and execute regional category strategies for HR, Fleet, Travel, and Finance Services spend in alignment with global category managers and senior business stakeholders Leverage SAP Ariba to drive sourcing events, manage contracts, and develop buying channel strategies that maximize efficiency and spend under management Use data analytics and tools such as Power BI and Excel to benchmark costs, identify savings opportunities, track contract leakage, and generate actionable insights Act as a Purchasing Business Partner for Group HR, Finance, and Division stakeholders — understanding business needs while proactively challenging requirements and existing solutions Manage the supplier portfolio by driving performance reviews, relationship frameworks, and continuous improvement across the regional supply base What makes you a great fit Above all, you are a proactive, energizing sourcing professional with strong analytical skills, hands-on contract management expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders from operational teams to executive leadership. We would also imagine that you have: 5+ years of experience in indirect strategic sourcing or category management, preferably within a large manufacturing environment Proven expertise in contract management including terms & conditions, liability assessment, and risk mitigation across complex service agreements Strong data and analytics capabilities — proficiency with Power BI, Excel, and contract management platforms (dashboards, renewal tracking, compliance monitoring) It is a plus if you have Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field We care! The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $118,000. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate's profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos's total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Certain roles are eligible to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.
