Senior Accountant (CPA)

Location:

Warrenville, IL (Onsite) About the Opportunity This role is ideal for a CPA with a public accounting foundation who is ready to transition into a well?run, growing private company without sacrificing technical rigor or career momentum. Responsibilities Own core month?end close activities including accruals, prepaids, revenue entries, and fixed assets Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations with public?firm?level precision and documentation Maintain and strengthen internal controls and core accounting processes Partner with AP/AR on coding, cash application, and bank reconciliations Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting Contribute to ad?hoc analysis and Finance?led special projects Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Public accounting foundation strongly preferred (current or former public accountants encouraged to apply) CPA highly preferred Strong communicator comfortable moving from detail work to leadership discussion Career?minded professional seeking future leadership Why This Role (Especially for Public Accountants) Clean exit from public accounting into a stable, growing private company Continued emphasis on technical accounting quality Direct exposure to operations and Finance leadership High standards, low bureaucracy, realistic workload

Compensation & Benefits Compensation:
