Senior Electrical Estimator - Construction

Job Summary Wilson & Cofield Electric Service Inc. is seeking a skilled senior electrical estimator with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calculating the cost of electrical jobs for a variety of projects, providing detailed quotes to clients, and ensuring all cost meet specifications and scope of project. Must have experience in analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, quotes, and other documentation to perform an accurate bid proposal. Experience in commercial ground up and upfit experience required. Experience in Water/Wastewater Industry preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Proficient with LiveCount and On-Screen Takeoff
• Proficient with Accubid Anywhere
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors, clients, and internal teams
• Work with Project Management on scope, specs, and turnover
• Review all blueprints and schedules to determine project needs
• Must review all specs for projects
• Estimate labor, materials, and time to provide overall cost of project
• Prepare budget requests
• Identify potential cost uncertainties
• Perform estimates, including takeoffs, gear, and fixture BOM for quoting
• Submit bids, review, follow up, and attend pre-bid and scope meetings

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in English language for speaking, reading, and writing

Expected Pay Rate:

Based upon experience

Pay:

$90,852.00 - $130,000.00 per year
