Senior Financial Manager

Responsible for accounting and financial controlling activities for automotive supplier and providing a consolidated view of the Americas Region financial performance. Perform all finance and asset accounting activities, identify potential areas of opportunity and risk, guarantee and optimize accounting and financial performance by making recommendations and guiding financial decisions, establish and enforce internal controls, ensure compliance with financial procedures, and monitor financial condition of Americas Region plants to ensure efficient operations. Perform accounting duties and responsibilities related to ensuring business plan financials of North American operations are accurate and compliant with relevant accounting and tax rules and ensuring taxes are paid timely. Specific accounting and financial controlling duties include: implement and monitor financial and accounting procedures and tools at headquarters, in accordance with corporate policies and ensure site-level compliance with financial controls and procedures; develop and enforce internal finance and accounting protocols, including spending authorizations; support ERP and financial systems development to enhance Selling, General & Administrative Expense (SG&A) tracking; identify and report financial discrepancies for resolution; lead budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with regional and headquarters teams; oversee financial reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance, including collaboration with Regional and Plant Controllers to validate financial data for reports; monitor HQ-related costs and provide variance analysis; consolidate financial data for SG&A and R D budgetary control; oversee free cash flow, capex, and working capital tracking; provide all financial documentation required for internal and external audit processes; provide financial information to support operational goals through recommendations based on financial analysis, tracking financial impact of initiatives and action plans, and promoting financial awareness among HQ teams; monitor daily cash positions across bank accounts to ensure sufficient liquidity; develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts; optimize cash concentration through pooling or sweeping strategies; coordinate intercompany cash transfers and oversee internal funding mechanisms; ensure compliance with corporate investment policies and risk parameters; provide support for capital structure decisions, including debt issuance and repayment strategies; track interest income and investment performance; maintain relationships with financial institutions to support operational needs, including coordinating for letters of credit, guarantees, and other financial instruments; monitor covenant compliance and reporting obligations for credit agreements; identify and mitigate financial risks related to interest rates, foreign exchange, and liquidity; treasury reporting and compliance, including preparing reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors, assisting in treasury audits and compliance reviews, and ensure treasury activities comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements. 10-15% domestic and international travel.
