Job Description
The Senior HR Operations Partner is a high-impact individual contributor responsible for optimizing how Human Resources operates across the organization. This role serves as the functional owner of HR systems, workforce data and analytics, and HR operational processes, while partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and HR team members to drive efficiency, scalability, and exceptional employee experience. This position is ideal for a strategic HR professional who enjoys solving complex problems, leveraging data to inform decisions, and building sustainable processes that support a growing organization. You will report to the Director of Human Resources and partner closely with the HR Manager.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES HR
Systems & Technology Serve as the primary functional owner of HCM/HRIS, including system optimization, configuration, reporting, and ongoing enhancements Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and effective utilization Identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline HR processes through technology HR Data, Reporting & Analytics Own the development and delivery of HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting (e.g., headcount, turnover, workforce trends) Translate data into actionable insights to support leadership decision-making Establish and maintain data governance practices to ensure consistency and reliability HR Operations & Process Improvement Lead the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of HR processes across the employee lifecycle Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions Support compliance-related reporting and audits, particularly within a regulated environment Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive file retention strategy that ensures compliance with all federal, state, and agency-specific requirements applicable to defense contractors. Project & Program Leadership Lead and support cross-functional HR initiatives, including system implementations, process enhancements, and strategic projects Partner with HR leadership to execute long-term initiatives aligned with organizational goals Manage timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables for key HR projects HR Team Partnership & Support Act as a key partner to Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and HR team members by providing systems expertise, reporting, and operational support Serve as a resource for complex HR questions, ensuring alignment with policies, practices, and compliance requirements Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented HR team environment and provide a wide range of support to the team when requested, in areas such as talent acquisition, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance filing, and leave administration. Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to HR operations, systems, and/or analytics. Demonstrated experience working with HRIS platforms (ADP experience strongly preferred). Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred. Experience leading or supporting HR projects, implementations, or process improvements. Solid understanding of core HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and employee lifecycle processes. Experience in manufacturing, defense, or other regulated environments preferred. Must be able to sit for extended periods. Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and information, viewing a computer and expansive reading. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
