The Senior Claims Inside Representative (CIR) is responsible for processing and adjusting property and casualty claims in accordance with the New York State Unfair Claims Practice Act and the company's internal procedures, aligned with policy coverage provisions Investigate claims and obtain relevant facts to determine coverage, loss, and liability Interact effectively with customers, insurance agents, police, attorneys, and other public personnel involved in the claim process Assist the Supervisor in analyzing, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving activities to support claim settlement Demonstrates a consistently high level of customer service to agents, policyholders, claimants, and co-workers Characteristics of an Inside Claims Representative Develops Knowledge

High school diploma or GED required. 2. 5+ years Senior Claims Representative experience in property, casualty, or relevant claims handling. 3. Some college coursework or a completed 4-year degree is preferred. 4. Professional insurance certifications (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ANS, AIC) are preferred. Position Type This is a full-time hybrid position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. A flex schedule is available. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as the company's duties demand. Travel This position requires occasional travel up to 10 days a year.
