Company Overview:

A private, family-owned business with a diverse portfolio in media, entertainment, technology, and other growth sectors is seeking a Senior Manager of Tax Compliance. This role will focus on managing stakeholder trusts and providing tax compliance and advisory support for high-net-worth individuals.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as a key tax advisor and trusted point of contact for family member clients and their related entities, including trusts and partnerships. Provide strategic guidance on complex tax matters and special projects, addressing international and multistate issues. Partner with the Head of Trust and Estate Tax Planning for coordinated tax and wealth planning solutions. Collaborate with the Family Office and partners for accurate and timely tax reporting. Serve as a liaison with the IRS and state tax authorities, representing clients in audits and resolving issues. Coordinate with internal and external advisors for integrated, client-focused solutions.

Qualifications:

CPA certification with 12-15 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on high-net-worth individuals. Bachelor's degree; Master's in Tax preferred. Experience with signing individual and trust tax returns. Extensive compliance experience with S corporations and partnerships. Proficiency in professional tax preparation software and Microsoft Office. Cross-border and multistate tax experience preferred.
