THE OPPORTUNITY
Responsible for performing a variety of routine daily tasks, such as processing client wire requests, identifying incoming wires and reconciling daily outgoing and incoming wires for Warehouse Lending Division (WLD). Responsible for month end closing and reporting. It is required that you have a thorough knowledge of the Company's policies and procedures. Ensures daily transactions are processed smoothly at Warehouse Lending level. Helps to ensure internal controls, policies, and mechanisms comply with standard industry practices, regulatory guidelines, and senior management's recommendations and/or directions. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Process complex settlement transactions including applying monthly interest roll schedules and bulk trade settlements. Oversee the daily incoming wires reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Responsible for closing month end transactions; running interest accrual and saving/reviewing month end reports for Management and Accounting Department. Process internal transfer transactions between client accounts at Banc of California and WLD GL account. Review and verify loan funding wire requests between GFX wire system and SRG warehouse loan system. Reconcile daily outgoing wires. Research and solve any wire discrepancies. Prepare quarterly financial seller certificates and assist in reviewing mid-size client financial statements. Boarding new client profiles in SRG warehouse loan system and maintain the profiles when terms change. Assist on other tasks assigned by SVP, Director of Operations with including but not limited to; internal and external audit requests, assisting with collateral receipt and shipping as needed. Consistently apply decision making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals and requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limit. Support audit projects such as research wire transfer supporting documentation. Follow all established policies and procedures. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting Preferred or relevant work experience. 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training. Work related experience should consist of a credit or loan processing background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. Banking experience preferred but not required. 2+ years mortgage experience required. High School diploma or equivalent required

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
