Job Description
Eaton's Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility. The Planning Supervisor is a planning subject matter with responsibilities aimed at driving materials management best practices to achieve the sales and production schedules, meet customer requirements, align plant capacity and excess & obsolete management targets. Key figure in owning the 4-6-week Production window and S&OE process with cross-functional work with Purchasing, Operations and Scheduling. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do:
- Responsible for engaging in the Production Plan for all Service orders on the site and driving resolution on material shortages and alignment.
- Leads and Supervises the Planning team regarding order scheduling, prioritization of material and efficient operations to assure fulfillment of customer delivery requirements.
- Maintain and coordinate key planning metrics including but not limited to
COGI, PD
Orders, and E&O.- Leverage Monthly Build Plan to determine appropriate objectives and planning expectations alongside VSMs.
- Train and educate the Planning team on use of supply chain management techniques and SAP modules.
- Work with Operations to provide monthly and quarterly shipment forecast based on capacity and material availability.
- Communicate with cross functional teams including Engineering, Scheduling, Purchasing, Quality and Operations.
- Support preparation and execution of annual physical inventory process.
- Drive root cause analysis culture within the Planning team on material availability and planning gaps.
- Responsible for implementation and sustained improvements to the S&OE process.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a Supply Chain function or 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience with SAP or equivalent experience in other ERP systems
- Lean-Six Sigma experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP ECC Certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Supply Chain function - planning preferred.
- CPIM All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
