Senior Portfolio Operation Analyst

Job Description We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Operations Analyst to join a high-performing investment operations team in a fast-paced environment. This is a senior-level, flexible role supporting multiple teams by balancing day-to-day operational oversight with key project initiatives. The individual will act as a go-to problem solver, stepping in to stabilize workloads, improve processes, and support business priorities. Responsibilities include overseeing and reviewing reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy, performing quality control checks, contributing to projects such as system conversions, automation, M&A integration, and insourcing efforts, and supporting teams during high-volume periods. This person will collaborate across multiple teams, rotating where needed, serve as a subject matter resource to guide junior team members, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, all while operating independently with minimal ramp-up. • 7+ years of portfolio or investment operations experience
• Strong fixed income knowledge (bonds, swaps, etc.)
• Experience with reconciliations and operational controls
• Proven ability to work independently and ramp up quickly in new environments
• Experience navigating multiple systems and complex workflows
• Background in buy-side operations (investment manager environment strongly preferred)
• Experience with custodian operations, particularly with fixed income exposure
• Involvement in projects such as system implementations, automation, or M&A integration
• Experience reviewing others' work or operating in a senior/lead analyst capacity
