Senior Pricing Analyst CAMDEN, New Jersey Finance 28118 Job Description Overview The Senior Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting NFI Global's freight forwarding and NVOCC business by owning day-to-day pricing execution across ocean, air, and intermodal trade lanes. This role is responsible for developing competitive, market-aligned pricing for spot quotes, FAK/NAC programs, and customer bids while protecting margin and supporting growth across the U.S., Canada, and Foreign-to-Foreign (cross-trade) lanes. This position works closely with Trade, Sales, and Operations to ensure pricing is accurate, timely, and executable within NFI's core systems. Responsibilities
  • Prepares and manages spot, FAK, and NAC pricing across ocean, air, and intermodal services.
  • Supports Foreign-to-Foreign (cross-trade) shipments, coordinating with global agent networks to secure net rates and maximize margin.
  • Supports major customer bids and RFPs, including rate modeling, lane analysis, and margin validation.
  • Ensures pricing reflects current market conditions, carrier programs, and internal margin targets.
  • Maintains accurate cost-to-sell pricing in CargoWise, including all accessorials, surcharges, and local charges.
  • Requests, validates, and manages rates from ocean carriers, airlines, and global agent partners.
  • Tracks rate validity, GRI/PSS exposure, and contract conditions to prevent margin erosion.
  • Analyzes "Win/Loss" data on quotes to provide feedback to Trade and Sales leadership on market competitiveness.
  • Collaborates with the Operations team to ensure quoted rates are successfully transitioned to the file execution level.
  • Audits carrier invoices against quoted rates to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Supports the Canadian market through specialized pricing requests and cross-border lane analysis.
  • Contributes to the development of pricing tools and automation within the CargoWise environment.
  • Provides market feedback and pricing trends to the Sr. Director of Trade Management to assist in procurement strategies.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pricing experience in international freight forwarding, NVOCC, or global logistics.
  • Advanced proficiency in CargoWise (Required).
  • Strong knowledge of ocean and air freight pricing strategies, including FAK, NAC, and Bid modeling.
  • Proven experience pricing Foreign-to-Foreign (F2F) or cross-trade shipments using global agent networks.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex data analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance market competitiveness with strict margin discipline.
  • Deep understanding of global trade lanes, carrier contract structures, and international surcharges.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of pricing requests under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with sales, operations, and external vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and rate validation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate global time zones and urgent customer bid requirements.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying and implementing process efficiencies in the pricing lifecycle.
We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $60,978.06 - 81,304.08. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
