Develop and implement improvement strategies that align with site priorities and long-term business goals. Troubleshoot and optimize automated equipment at the machine and system level to improve throughput, uptime, and repeatability. Advance the site's digital transformation through automation, data integration, and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Partner with manufacturing, quality, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Author, execute, and report on validation activities, including test protocols. Lead

investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions. Own change control activities related to equipment and process modifications. Serve as a subject matter expert for equipment troubleshooting and process performance issues. Provide leadership, technical direction, and innovation on complex engineering initiatives that advance plant capability Lead and implement change control activities related to equipment Interpret, complete, and recommend modifications to operating policies where appropriate. Establish and control capital operating budgets for project. Provide leadership, direction, and expertise for sophisticated projects. Provide leadership and drive innovation within the plant. Onsite, full‑time role with less than 10% travel. What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline preferred). 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and validation practices. Knowledgeable in the practice and application of Lean Manufacturing.

Robotics:

Fanuc, Yaskawa.

Vision Systems:

Cognex, Keyence. Servo control systems (Rockwell, Yaskawa).

Electrical:

Hands on solving and diagnostic skills, understanding of Category 3 Safety Systems, E-Plan P8, AutoCAD, ability to read/draw schematics.

Communication:

Understanding of TCP/IP networks, RS-232 interfaces, Profibus communication, Fieldbus and HSSB. Familiarity with drives (such as servo and VFD) motion control, encoders, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Hands‑on mechanical proficiency; experience with Serialization and SCADA systems is a plus. AutoCAD drafting skills. The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000 - $176,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
