We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic procurement initiatives and optimize supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the seamless procurement of goods and services across the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Come join our growing team! Job Duties & Responsibilities Overseeing all purchase orders including the monitoring and entering of order acknowledgements Proactively seek out new partners/materials and capture market-driven cost saving opportunities through awareness of market drivers, negotiations, and synergistic opportunities, while simultaneously improving quality and operating efficiencies. Manage new RFQs Monitor exceptions (date, quality SCAR, RMA, and Item Master Data) Item Master Data evaluation in ERP system. Report status of the Open Orders to Operations and communicate possible solutions to mitigate risks. Coordinating resolutions to questions from suppliers or lead time delivery or quality issues. Monitor International Delivery Performance Further develop MT's supply chain to mitigate delivery delays, risks Detailed understanding of material marketings, capacity, and freight Identifies recurring problems and recommends solutions Improves own way of working and identifies aspects that need improvement Other duties as assigned Required Education & Experience BS, BA degree 4+ years of experience as an Operational Buyer or equivalent Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high energy office environment Self-reliant and ability to work independently High level of organization and detail oriented Experience with entering and expediting purchase orders Experience with ERP systems Good computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Technical / Mechanical training or experience Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read engineering drawings
Duties Pay:
