Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a hands-on Senior Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This role will have broad exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, inventory, and financial statement preparation , making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in a growing, operationally focused environment. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Monitor and drive collections efforts , including aging reports and customer follow-up Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain and analyze inventory records , including tracking, valuation, and reconciliations Ensure accuracy of financial data and maintain general ledger integrity Partner with operations leadership on inventory and cost-related analysis Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong experience with AP, AR, and financial statement preparation Experience with inventory accounting required Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a product-based environment Experience with ERP/accounting systems CPA or progress toward certification
