About theRole:
As a Server within the management of companies and enterprises sector, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for clients and guests. Your primary objective is to efficiently take and deliver orders while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor that reflects the company's standards. You will act as a liaison between the kitchen and the customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment. Additionally, you will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive word-of-mouth. Your role is vital in upholding the reputation of the enterprise by consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations through attentive service and effective communication.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or food service role. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and order management software. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Additional language skills to assist diverse customer bases. Certification in food handling or customer service training.Responsibilities:
Greet and seat customers promptly and courteously, providing menus and answering initial questions about the offerings. Take accurate food and beverage orders, inputting them into the ordering system and communicating special requests to kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards. Monitor customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and escalating issues when necessary. Process payments efficiently, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and provide receipts as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables according to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and management to optimize service flow and contribute to a positive work environment.Skills:
The required communication skills are essential for interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and conveying orders accurately to kitchen staff. Attention to detail ensures that orders are fulfilled correctly and that any special requests are accommodated, which directly impacts customer satisfaction.
