Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly demeanor. Duties Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted. Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist guests with any inquiries or concerns, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of dishes. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with sales techniques is a plus. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A culinary background or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial but not required. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
