Job Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our team at our casual sit-down restaurant. The ideal candidate has experience in food service or hospitality and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable and welcoming dining experience in our restaurant. Duties Greeted and welcomed guests in a friendly and professional manner to ensure an excellent dining experience. Took accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha and Micros POS systems. Provided menu recommendations and upsold food and beverage items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Served food and beverages promptly while following all food safety and sanitation standards. Managed multiple tables efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail and customer service. Processed guest payments accurately using cash handling and basic math skills. Communicated effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and order accuracy. Assisted with bussing tables and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. Addressed guest questions, concerns, and feedback professionally and in a timely manner. Maintained high standards of hospitality to create a positive and welcoming experience for all guests. Requirements Proficient in Aloha, Micros, and similar POS systems for accurate order entry and payment processing. Experienced in restaurant and food service operations with strong knowledge of hospitality standards. Demonstrated strong time management skills while handling busy shifts in fast-paced environments. Skilled in sales and upselling techniques to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue. Familiar with OpenTable reservation systems and guest seating coordination. Knowledgeable in fine dining service standards, food presentation, and guest relations. Experienced in food handling, preparation, and food safety procedures. Strong customer service and communication skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Experienced in cash handling and basic math for accurate transactions and balancing. Background in guest services, hosting, and maintaining a welcoming dining atmosphere. Maintained high sanitation and cleanliness standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
