Job Summary Duarte's Tavern, Located in Pescadero, takes great pride in serving the freshest seafood and produce from our own garden and the local community! House specialties inlcude Crab Cioppino, Artichoke Soup and Olallieberry Pie. We are looking to add team members to our service staff that provides an exceptional experience for all of our guests! General Responsibilities Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, performing all other preparation tasks. Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc. Direct customers to their tables, present and walk the customer through the menu, suggest dishes, and help guest with selection, inform customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks. Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, bussing tables, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses, running food. Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change. Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting. Work well with others and practice great team work Qualifications Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication style Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy shifts Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with food industry standards including sanitation, food safety protocols, and guest relations

Pay:

$100.00 - $400.00 per day
