Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and provide correct change using POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring all guests leave satisfied. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly. Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and understanding of food safety regulations. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and managing tabs efficiently. Experience with culinary processes or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of food preparation and service flow.
