Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Accurately enter orders into the POS system (Aloha POS, Micros POS) and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for billing. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including setting up the dining area for service. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Proficient in using POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for order entry and cash handling. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Culinary experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food preparation techniques. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive rapport with guests. Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling procedures. Previous experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial.
