Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience while increasing sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to deliver timely service during busy hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed. Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Support team members by assisting with food prep or kitchen tasks during peak times or when necessary. Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Ability to upsell menu items effectively using sales techniques like OpenTable reservations or suggestive selling strategies. Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards. Experience with serving in high-energy environments such as nightclubs or casual dining venues is preferred. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation.
