In this role, you'll be actively involved in planting, cultivating, harvesting crops, caring for livestock, and maintaining farm equipment. Duties Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using hand tools and farm machinery Provide attentive care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health status Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and machinery, including welding and basic equipment troubleshooting Manage animal husbandry tasks like breeding, cleaning enclosures, and ensuring proper nutrition Support greenhouse activities by planting seedlings, managing climate controls, and maintaining horticultural standards Supervise or collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all farm activities Skills Proven supervising experience in agricultural or farm settings Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment repair Strong animal handling skills with a focus on animal husbandry and care Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, power tools, and hand tools safely Experience with irrigation systems, greenhouse management, and horticulture practices Knowledge of farming techniques including growing experience and crop management Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting schedules or feed rations Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Familiarity with welding techniques for equipment repair and maintenance Strong understanding of agriculture principles including animal husbandry and sustainable farming practices This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their expertise in agriculture while contributing to productive farm operations.
