The Server is responsible for delivering warm, attentive, and memorable dining experiences for our guests. From greeting and guiding guests through the menu to serving food and beverages with care, the Server plays a key role in bringing the resort's hospitality to life. This part-time position is ideal for an energetic, guest-focused individual who takes pride in exceptional service and thrives in a welcoming ranch setting.Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Service Warmly greet and welcome guests, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their dining experience Present menus, answer questions, and offer knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverages Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly and professionally Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns with warmth and a solutions-focused approach Food & Beverage Service Serve food and beverages accurately, promptly, and to brand standards Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, daily specials, and beverage offerings Suggest and upsell appetizers, beverages, desserts, and add-on experiences to enhance the guest experience Check in with guests throughout their meal and refill beverages as needed Follow responsible alcohol service practices and verify guest age when serving alcoholic beverages Operations & Administration Accurately process payments, handle cash and card transactions, and close out checks Set up and reset tables with clean linens, glassware, and place settings to brand standards Restock service stations with napkins, utensils, condiments, and supplies Complete opening, side-work, and closing duties as assigned Cleanliness & Compliance Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards and regulations Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of dining areas, service stations, and guest touchpoints Report any equipment issues, spills, or safety hazards to a manager promptly Handle and dispose of waste and cleaning materials according to guidelines Team Collaboration Work closely with kitchen, bussing, and food and beverage teams to ensure smooth, seamless service Communicate clearly and pitch in wherever needed during busy periods Maintain a calm and collected composure during high-volume service and unexpected situations Support special events, seasonal programming, and guest activities as needed Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented team environmentQualifications:
Prior serving or restaurant experience preferred, but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and professional demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol in the state of Texas Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiencesPreferred Attributes:
Experience at a ranch resort, hotel, or restaurant TABC certification and Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain) Warm, welcoming, and detail-oriented approach Dependable, energetic, and self-motivated Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in Interest in ranch life, the outdoors, or retreat-style environmentsWork Environment:
This role is based onsite at a ranch resort and involves work in dining areas, service stations, and occasionally outdoor event spaces. The position requires standing, walking, and carrying trays for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment. As a part-time position, scheduling will vary based on business needs and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, all while maintaining a friendly, polished, and professional presence in a tranquil ranch setting.Note:
