Part-time, Full-time Server/Beertender Position Summary:

Whiteside Brewing Co. is the only microbrewery located in beautiful Cashiers, North Carolina. The location is a beautiful, park like setting adjacent to the popular Wells Hotel and right off the Cashiers town center. We are looking for Servers to join our team. Whiteside Brewing Company is open year round with many different events happening throughout the year. The person we hire will be open-minded with a willingness to learn and be part of a great work environment. Primary Responsibilities:

Pours beers, wine and pre-made cocktails. Places food orders in a cheerful and professional manner. WBC has counter service so this job does not involve traditional table service. Is knowledgeable of all of Whiteside Brewing Companies beer and describes them correctly to the customers Checks identification of customers to verify age of purchase of alcohol per ABC requirements Receives payments, completes guest transactions and tenders proper change to customers. Performs opening, closing and cleaning duties Use suggestive selling techniques to offer beverage, merchandise, menu items and other promotional items Create a warm, fun, safe and enjoyable experience for guests Welcomes guests with hospitable, inviting and positive attitude Follows procedures for preventing over intoxicated guests and is able to resolve any concerns with problematic customers Works well with other employees to develop a strong team Keeps supervisor informed on all problems and takes corrective action necessary

Requirements:

Must be 18 years old Availability holidays, weekends, days and nights Able to multitask in a busy environment Competitive Hourly Pay + Tips, Paid Weekly, No late nights or early mornings!
