Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency Process payments confidently with cash handling skills, including basic math for change calculation Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness standards aligned with food safety and sanitation protocols Manage reservations and seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems to optimize guest flow Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold high-quality food presentation Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to sanitation standards and food handling regulations Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations Support the team during busy hours by multitasking between serving, cashiering, and supporting food industry operations Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining or nightclub background is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing Experience in customer service roles that involve serving, cashiering, or host/hostess duties demonstrates strong guest relations skills Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and basic math for cash handling is essential Culinary experience or kitchen background can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service standards Strong communication skills coupled with hospitality experience will help create a welcoming environment for all guests This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the hospitality industry.
