We're 2nd generation restaurant owners who are continuing our parents legacy and looking to expand our front-of-house team. We're actively looking for a dedicated server who can thrive specifically in a small family restaurant environment. We have 9 tables and seat around 34 guests, and operate in a smaller store that requires a lot of multitasking. Our AM lunch service primarily serves local workers in the community who order grab-and-go from our hot bar lunch special and al la carte menu. During our PM dinner service, we offer a full-service sit-down experience for dine-in customers and provide high-quality customer service. We're not looking for just an ordianry employee, but a team member who can represent our family values and truly become a part of our family and team. Work Expectations & Requirements. Demonstrate ability to operate our Chowbus POS (point of sale system) Greet customers with friendly, warm enthusiasm and the ability to remember names. (We're a family restaurant with a lot of usual customers!) Provide attentive and genuine hospitality and customer service at all times. Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, including dietary restrictions and food allergens (We have an extensive menu with a lot of food allergens). Be on time, dependable, accountable, and willing to learn from mistakes. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and be efficient under pressure in a fast-paced, busy work environment. Support team members and contribute to a positive work culture. Experience with 3rd-party platforms such as Door Dash, Uber Eats & Grubhub, taking to-go orders over the phone and packing to-go orders quickly. Perform side work at the start and end of each shift during downtime. Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the store Ability to lift more than 30 lbs. REQUIRED

Prior work experience at a restaurant. Food Handler Certification_ (can obtain later) _ Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification_ (can obtain later) _ Ideal Qualities Customer service and guest interactions are your natural personality.
