Server/Waiter

Looking for servers for a new family-owned European wine and bite concept in Bellaire. Come join our incredible team of dedicated people working to give the best service to our guests. Looking for a motivated person who takes pride in their work and has an interest in wine and European food.

Position:

Server Status:

Full or Part-time Restaurant capacity: 45 persons

Shifts:

Opening (10-5), Closing (3:30 - 10:30/11:30) + partial shifts available Hours of operation: Tuesday to Thursday 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM; Friday - Saturday 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM;

Closed Sunday & Monday Wage:

$7.25 base wage + tips: Paid overtime 10 days earned PTO a year 5 sick day a year (does not roll over) Server responsibilities and skills: Work closely with back of house staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations Provide high-quality (though friendly and relaxed) service to guests Assist with sidework as necessary (rolling silverware, polishing glassware, running occasional load of glassware through dishwasher, cutting citrus, etc.) Bus tables Assist kitchen with finalizing assembly of cheese & charcuterie boards as needed Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, maintain clean and organized workspace, and report any issues or maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

Server experience ServSafe & TABC certification required. Flexible schedule desired Comfortable on a small team. Reliable. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Knowledgeable about food allergies procedures for special meal requirements. Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs

Preferred:

Experience with European cuisine. Basic wine knowledge Ideal candidates will have WSET or Court certifications
