Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Service Coordinator/Dispatcher to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate service appointments, dispatch technicians, and manage communication between clients, field staff, and vendors. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations, timely service delivery, and high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch service technicians efficiently using transportation management systems and GPS tools Communicate clearly with clients via phone, maintaining excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills Enter data accurately into systems such as Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, and AS400 for tracking service requests and freight movements Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation and timely deliveries Monitor fleet management systems to optimize transportation planning and logistics operations Use analysis skills to prioritize urgent requests and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts promptly Maintain detailed records of service activities, dispatch logs, and incident reports with precise data entry Skills Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), GIS (Geographic Information Systems), GPS technology, and supply chain logistics Proficiency in transportation planning, freight coordination, shipping & receiving procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally Skilled in data entry with high accuracy using platforms like Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, and AS400 Familiarity with fleet management software and 3PL (third-party logistics) operations Analysis skills to interpret logistical data and optimize dispatching processes Knowledge of shipping & receiving protocols, warehouse operations, and transportation management best practices Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a dynamic team that values proactive problem-solving, clear communication, and operational excellence.
