Service Department and Resort Operations Assistant:

Performing, or learning to perform: Basic mechanical repairs & maintenance—boats, motors, trailers. Preparing new and used boats for sale. Assisting with launching boats into the water, hauling boats out, and marina docking. Boat Cleaning - Detailing, buffing, cleaning. Power spraying boat hulls (undersides of boats). Opportunities to advance and attain marine technical certifications related to Fuel Injection, Ignition, Electrical, Mechanical, and Transmissions. Parts Inventory Control Ordering and Stocking Parts and Accessories Providing Direct Customer Service at Various Locations at the Marina and Golf Resort - Retail Stores, Marina Docks, On-Water Fuel and Boat Rental Dock, and Golf Course. Assisting Maintenance Department with Buildings or Docks Repairs and Maintenance. Basic Requirements for

Service Department and Resort Operations Assistant:

Working knowledge of gasoline engines (automotive or other). Marine knowledge or experience preferred but not required. We train applicants from other service backgrounds. Basic computer skills. Understanding the importance of being efficient and time management. Should be organized and detail oriented, with good communication skills in a shop environment, the outdoors, and in retail settings. Resumes should include education / vocational references and past / current employment.
