Service Scheduler is responsible for day to day scheduling and overseeing regional service engineers. Work closely with Regional service manager on all day to day activities. Service Scheduler Responsibilities Schedule field service engineers according to mission priority. Evaluate field service engineers' technical experience and location in order to dispatch the appropriate technician. Communicate with customers daily and timely as to the status of their service request. Report scheduling delays of critical machines to Service Management. Work with other schedulers to acquire or lend additional coverage. Work closely with technical support engineers regarding missions Ensure all missions are properly scheduled with proper tools and equipment as necessary. Work with regional service manager to ensure that work by field technicians is complete and all paperwork and software is filled out properly. Experience Must have heavy call volume experience. Prior scheduling knowledge preferred but not necessary. TRUMPF product knowledge helpful. Strong follow up skills mandatory. Minimum three years prior experience or equivalent in customer service/technical concentration is preferred.
