We're looking for an experienced and motivated Powersports Service Technician to build, PDI, accessorize and maintain a variety of powersports vehicles. You'll work closely with our sales manager, parts department, and fellow technicians to ensure every customer's machine leaves our shop running at peak performance.Key Responsibilities:
- Build, PDI and accessorize ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft
- Perform PDI, inspections, and adjustments according to manufacturer specifications
- Accurately document repair work and parts used
- Communicate effectively with the service, sales and parts department to ensure efficient workflow
- Stay current with OEM training, service bulletins, and technical updates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Handle customer units with care and attention to detail
- Assist in setup and pre-delivery inspections of new units
- Delivery and transport of units to customers and/or sales events
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a powersports, auto, motorcycle, or small engine technician is a plus
- Manufacturer certifications (Can-Am, Kawasaki, Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Honda, etc.) preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Must own basic tools; specialty tools provided by the dealership
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Hi-lo experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license (motorcycle endorsement a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent
