Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Afternoon Brine/Crude Oil driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy duty commercial trucks to transport Brine/crude oil safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving background, familiarity with different truck types, mechanical ability, problem solving skills, and the ability to manage route pick up and delivery during afternoon shifts. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, professionalism, and timeliness. Duties Safely operate heavy haul tractor-trailers and tankers Load and unload crude oil with appropriate equipment Deliver crude oil/brine along designated routes in a timely manner Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Follow all safety protocols related to handling hazardous materials and driving large commercial vehicles Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks to ensure optimal operation Adhere to route schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch for route adjustments or issues Company provides uniforms and safety gear Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for tanker (Hazmat & tanker endorsements for crude oil, tanker endorsement for brine) Able To go into Canada Proven experience in truck driving, especially with multi-axle lift trailers Experience operating 18/13 manual transmission trucks is mandatory Knowledge of safety regulations related to transporting hazardous materials like crude oil Strong driving record and a clean background check required Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently and safely using appropriate tools or equipment Good communication skills for coordinating deliveries and route adjustments This position is vital for maintaining efficient transportation operations within our company.
