Job Description

Townline Equipment has an immediate opening to join our dedicated Service Team as our Pittsford Vermont Service Team Leader! We are a growing, family owned and operated company based in NH with 7 Kubota store locations across NH, VT, and NY. Our Service Team members are all very dedicated, experienced, and empathetic to our customers needs and expectations of providing excellent product support after the sale. Our Service Team Leader responsibilities include: Acts as the main customer touch point for all service issues with support from service tech team leader with technical questions Works with Sales Team to set daily and weekly priorities for assemblies, sold builds and used equipment reconditioning Works with Sales Team to institute quality control checks on all assembly, sold builds and used equipment after techs complete work Oversees the entire work order cycle process, generation through closing and invoicing for customer and internal work for this service team Sells internal service labor and parts to the Sales Team ensuring all techs are highly productive Works with Service Director to identify and execute continuous process improvements in the Service Department Communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction Schedules and assign jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge Works with Sales Team to schedule trucking and communicates delivery timelines with appropriate service team members so service work and set ups meet time line expectations. Manages delivery communication with the customer if necessary In charge of reviewing work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing Ensures all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order for this service team With assistance from the service director, actively coaches, develops, and helps employees grow their capabilities Proactively seeks and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set The skills we are looking for in a sales team leader are: Excellent communication across all internal and customer facing modes Attention to organization and planning Punctuality and reliability Empathy and patience A positive and energetic outlook Flexibility and ingenuity in problem solving situations Technical understanding Computer proficiency This is a long-term career position with our company.
