Service Writer/Advisor

About us Zoomers RV is a fast-growing, successful multi-location RV Dealer with its' home office/store located in Wabash, IN with other Locations in Mulkeytown, ILL and Lamoni, IA! Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service to meet the wants and needs of every person who walks through the doors of our modern and spacious fully equipped dealership. Our organization is currently seeking a Service Writer for our Wabash, Indiana location. The right candidate will maintain responsibility for helping customers by providing product and service information, clear and up-to-date communication, and to aide in the management of the business reputation through exceptional customer service and results.

Essential Duties:

Determine specialized product needs and services through working directly with customers and documenting the repairs needing and scheduling appropriate staff for those jobs to be completed. Keep lines of communication open and fluent throughout the entire process of the customer's service experience, keeping them informed of progress and any possible changes within a timely manner. Use expert knowledge to understand the client's problems and explain their needs to staff for satisfactory service delivery and ultimately, ensure that the needs of the customers are met while coordinating transactions and estimate both time and costs to ensure everything runs smoothly for them. Deal directly with sales & facilitate sold units that go into the shop & keep them a priority. Document and update customer records based on interactions and information for continuance of exceptional customer service. Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services. Check-in and Check-Out for all units within the service department. Finalizing work orders - follow up with customers & making sure their expectations were met.

Requirements/Key Competencies:

Clear and concise written and verbal communication with attention to detail. Excellent organization Results driven and motivated for sales. Excellent customer service. Effectively manages responsibilities with time management to reach goals. Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy including in any follow-up communication with customers. Develop knowledge of the units to help customers with questions. Employee must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications:

RV/Automotive experience is a plus. Has prior experience and is technologically able to document customer requests and schedule appointments as needed throughout the day. Must have a strong work ethic and a hunger to succeed in a team environment.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
