Hospitalist Rounding Nurse

We are a privately owned Internal Medicine group seeking an RN - Rounding Nurse to work closely with our physicians in the inpatient hospital setting. This position is ideal for nurses looking to transition away from traditional bedside nursing. We serve multiple locations and are looking for RNs willing to work in Warsaw IN and/or Wabash IN Prefer willingness to travel initially for training to Huntington or Columbia City Indiana.

Duties include:

Rounding with physician providers on hospitalized patients Assisting with patient care coordination and follow-up Communicating with nursing staff, case management, and providers Reviewing labs, imaging, and patient updates with the physician team Assisting with documentation, orders, and discharge planning Full-time and Part-Time availability

Schedule:

Generally 6-8 hour shifts, depending on the census 1 major and 1 minor holiday/year rotation every other and every third weekend rotation options

Setting:

Inpatient medical-surgical unit and ICU. Previous inpatient nursing experience preferred RNs pursuing Advanced Practice Degrees are encouraged to apply!
