Summary Independent Contract - Medical Courier position in Shelby, MI offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering essential medical materials. As a Medical Courier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that healthcare providers receive their supplies promptly and securely. Availability Monday - Friday Pickup time: 3:30pm Estimated # of stops: 5 Responsibilities Transport medical materials, including specimens and pharmaceuticals, to various healthcare facilities. Ensure timely and secure delivery while adhering to safety protocols. Load and unload materials efficiently from the vehicle. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding delivery status. Navigate assigned routes efficiently to optimize delivery times. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation systems. Ability to lift heavy packages safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction. Experience with route planning is advantageous.
