Shelter Support Staff

Safe Haven is a women's transitional shelter serving women in our community as they work toward stability, independence, and long-term success. We are seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Shelter Support Staff. Shelter Support Staff provide direct support to residents while helping maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming environment. Our shelter operates three shifts per day, seven days a week. Opportunities may be available for additional fill-in shifts as needed. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment Providing support and assistance to residents in daily activities Monitoring safety and documenting incidents, concerns, and rule violations Completing required reports and shift documentation Performing various office and administrative tasks Answering phone calls and conducting shelter inquiries Collaborating with team members to ensure consistent care and accountability Confidentiality, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential components of this position.
