Sheriff Deputy

The Ottawa County Sheriff Office is interested in professional, highly motivated, problem-solving oriented individuals for full-time Deputy Sheriff positions. We are looking for individuals that are community oriented and have good interpersonal skills to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve. Duties will include enforcing all federal, state and local laws, taking calls for service; patrolling the county to deter and detect crime, investigate complaints; citing and/or arresting law violators; following up on pending reports and cases; serving civil process; protecting person and/or property. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School / GED
• Experience Law Enforcement certification preferred but not required.
• Employee must be a U.

S.
