12-hour Rotating Day Shift (6:00am - 6:00pm) Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Shift Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you must have strong organization and communication skills while being able to consistently apply applicable policies. This position follows a Pitman schedule, offering a predictable rotating shift with built-in overtime and extended time off, supporting strong work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Provide dayto-day guidance and support to production employees while monitoring workflows and output to ensure quality and production standards are met. Foster a positive and productive work environment by maintaining professional relationships with employees and directing policyrelated questions to management when needed. Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, quality standards, and operational policies. Report safety concerns, production issues, or potential risks to management promptly. Inspect products and shipments to confirm specifications, quality requirements, and customer expectations are achieved. Review and approve machine setups, production samples, and shipments as required. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall production performance. Participate in production meetings and coordinate with other departments to support daily operations and production goals. Assist with training and onboarding new hires, temporary employees, and visitors to ensure safety, quality, and production procedures are understood. Support company quality initiatives and help maintain established quality objectives. Provide oversight and support to entrylevel team members while reviewing work for accuracy and consistency. Assist with maintaining employee schedules and attendance records within the company's timekeeping system as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment. Ability to apply workplace policies, procedures, and safety standards consistently and effectively. Proficiency with computers and software programs including Microsoft Office and other jobrelated systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments and teams. Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift more when required. Basic math skills including the ability to calculate percentages, ratios, and measurements. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, and customers.
