Job Description

Shift Manager - Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Lead the shift. Fuel the team. Make it happen. Are you ready to bring the heat and lead with heart? A Popeyes Shift Manager ensures all Team Members during a shift exemplify Popeyes famous Cajun Hospitality while serving Guests and creating a memorable experience while upholding Popeyes' Brand Standards. Shift Managers support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM) in making sure all food is freshly prepared and cooked to perfection for every Guest. The Shift Manager ensures Team Members deliver food to guests that is cooked to perfection, made with love, and served up with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality. Shift Managers enjoy creating a collaborative spirit within the restaurant - they are energized by the opportunity to learn and grow. What You'll Do As a Shift Manager, you'll be the go-to leader during your shift, keeping operations smooth, team morale high, and guests coming back for more.
Your responsibilities include:
Managing and supervising restaurant and kitchen staff during assigned shifts Ensuring efficient, accurate, and friendly service at all times Training new team members on policies, procedures, and guest servicestandards Monitoring inventory levels and placing supply orders as needed Overseeing food prep and enforcing food safety guidelines Handling guest concerns with professionalism and care Supporting staffing, training, food cost, labor, and cleanliness goals Collaborating with management to improve restaurant performance Leading regular team huddles to share updates and boost engagement What You Bring Previous leadership experience in the restaurant industry (preferred but not required) Strong knowledge of front-of-house and back-of-house operations Proven ability to manage a team and delegate effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with POS systems and inventory procedures Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices What Makes You Stand Out Honesty, integrity, and a "make it happen" mindset A natural drive to lead others to success Confidence, charisma, and the ability to inspire your team A passion for delivering top-tier Quality, Service, and Cleanliness every shift Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs Frequent kneeling, lifting, and product handling Comfortable with physical tasks related to prep, stocking, and inventory What's In It for You Competitive pay and performance-based bonuses Career progression and growth Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off to recharge and refresh A vibrant, supportive team culture No early mornings or super late nights And yes—plenty of delicious chicken Come grow your career with a brand that's bold, flavorful, and built for leaders.
