Job Description

Job Title:
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you will play a vital role in supporting our electrical parts distribution. You will be responsible for unloading vans, stacking boxes, and ensuring that all parts are correctly bagged, tagged, and sorted. Additionally, you will collect materials for orders and manage inventory deliveries to client locations. This role offers a flexible Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Responsibilities Receive merchandise from carriers, verify counts, unpack, inspect, and allocate for stock, shipment, delivery, or temporary hold. Place inventory into stock locations with attention to part numbers and warehouse accuracy. Provide quality check assistance to ensure inventory items and counts are accurate. Identify any missing or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor. Ensure all merchandise is safely and securely packaged and labeled for shipment and delivery. Pick up will call purchase orders from vendors and deliver sales orders to customers. Essential Skills Valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Forklift experience. Ability to work independently and safely. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with FIFO (first in-first out) procedures. Forklift certification. Delivery or driving experience. Customer service experience. Warehouse experience. Experience with SAP, data entry, and ERP systems. Why Work Here? The warehouse is managed by a team of two employees, allowing for a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere. Dress code is casual, and the role may require some driving for deliveries. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
