Web - V#26-13746 Up to $64.58 per hour Hillsboro, OR All On-site Job Description Onsite or Remote Laptop provided Software Engineer (Full Stack) We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. You'll hit the ground running, owning features end-to-end, contributing to architecture decisions, and writing production-ready code across both frontend and backend. You're comfortable working in an existing codebase, adapting to established patterns, and delivering with minimal handholding. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and debug production web applications across frontend and backend
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code following secure coding and compliance best practices
• Take ownership of features through the full SDLC — from requirements to deployment
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
• Write and maintain automated tests — unit, integration, and end-to-end
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with sprint planning, standups, and iterative delivery
• Work directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions Required Qualifications Education
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack or web application development
• Demonstrated history of shipping production applications Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript — async patterns, closures, Promises, DOM manipulation, and modern ES6+
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (Vue, React, or Angular)
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns
• Solid command of HTML, CSS, and responsive/accessible web design
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation and optimization
• Strong grasp of system design principles, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience working in and navigating existing codebases Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with server-side scripting such as PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar
• Familiarity with MVC architecture patterns in a web context
• Experience with Git workflows — branching strategies, PRs, and collaborative code reviews
• Exposure to containerization and deployment (Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience with build tools and package managers (npm, Webpack, Vite, Babel)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and project tracking tools (JIRA, Linear, etc.)
• Experience with TDD, CI/CD, or other software quality practices
