Job Description

Gundies Auto Recycling is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Operator. The ideal candidate will have a strong auto parts background, experience with shipping and receiving, as well as a sharp eye for quality control, in a fast-paced environment.
Hours:
40 hours/week
Wage:
$18-20
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 Responsibilities Receive daily shipments - physically and into the system (Incoming). MUST be able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly. Stock received inventory. Return inventory back to vehicles. Prepare and send daily shipments (Outgoing). Maintain accurate inventory. Coordinate shipping and receiving needs with staff and salesmen. Data entry including labels, freight into order tracker, non-collected freight, return call tags. Use stamps.com and UPS Worldship to process orders. Maintain quality control of images for part inventory including editing and re-taking photos. Maintain a supply of materials for shipping products including lumber, cardboard, bubble rap, etc. Repair or polish parts as needed. Assist in other departments as needed. Perform other related duties as required or assigned by management. Maintaining a clean and tidy work space at all times. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Car parts inventory experience of at least 2 years. Fork lift experience of at least 2 years. Basic hand tools required. Demonstrated leadership in the automotive after-market service industry. Body shop and/or warehouse experience a plus. Self-motivated and possesses analytical problem-solving skills to not only identify issues but find immediate solutions for customers. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Competency with Excel spreadsheets. Background check & drug test administered as a condition of employment Personal, reliable transportation required.
