Job Description

Job purpose This role is responsible for loading & scheduling full truck loads to and from Fusion Tech, as well as loading and unloading raw material and finished goods. Duties and responsibilities
  • Schedule deliveries and pickups ranging from LTL to FTL in accordance to sales orders and installation schedules.
  • Interact with customers as well as carriers in a professional manner
  • Proactively communicate with management and shop personal
  • Be willing to cross train in other areas and fill in as needed
  • Loading and unloading trucks, including small boxes to large plates and assemblies involving usage of fork-trucks and hand dollies
  • Processing of all paperwork for all incoming items and making sure the items are received and labeled properly as well as distributed to the appropriate departments
  • Gathering of all components and parts that are scheduled for daily shipments
  • May include working with supervisors and other departments to bring all processes together
  • Building Crates and packaging product.
  • Stamping and marking of parts
  • Maintain Inventory-Organization Qualifications Proven experience with shipping and receiving Must have a valid drivers license Professional and proactive work ethic Prior knowledge of loading semi-trucks Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of metals and fabrication - stainless steel preferred Strong blueprint interpretation skills Good communication skills both oral and written Ability to adjust to change in schedules with little notice Must operate fork lift Operate various hand tools and equipment -including drills, miter saws, reciprocating saws, table saws, wrenches, etc.
Must listen and follow directions Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask Good Analytical to resolve problems Excellent organizational skills Working conditions Performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly work inside the shop setting with exposure to shop noise, dust particles, and field elements to be expected n this role. Also will regularly work outside to load and unload trucks. Physical requirements Physically active role Use of hand and feet Standing for prolonged period of times up to 8 to 10 hours per day.
